¿Qué hay en tu casa?

Which term do you teach your Spanish language students for bedroom? dormitorio? habitación? cuarto? alcoba? recámara? No matter which you actually teach, students may find it interesting that all 5 of these words can be used to mean the same place in different parts of the Spanish-speaking world — or even by the same person at different times! I know for me personally, I use the words cougar and mountain lion interchangeably, but if I want to sound a little more formal, I might call it a puma.

Use this worksheet not only to practice numbers and household vocabulary, but also to show how fickle and fun language can be (like 5 words for bedroom!). 😀
